Connecting Faith, Rhythm, and Playful Innovation
Katie Riley is a dynamic speaker, storyteller, and musician whose lifelong ministry weaves together faith, creativity, and movement to inspire and build community.

Drawing from her background in musical theater and her studies in Pastoral Music at Loyola Marymount University, Katie brings prayer, music, and embodied spirituality to life—guiding people of all ages into a deeper relationship with Christ through song, story, and shared experience.
With decades of leadership in parish and diocesan settings—from sacramental preparation and Vacation Bible School to children’s liturgy, music ministry, and family faith formation—Katie has served as a Director of Religious Education, youth band leader, cantor, and faith formation specialist. She is passionate about training catechists, parish teams, and community leaders to bring joy, creativity, and playfulness back into family and faith-based settings.
Her work in evangelization has led to international collaborations with Our Sunday Visitor, including Encounter with Christ virtual modules, the Alive in Christ soundtrack, and the Spanish-language album, Vivos en Cristo.
Originally from the New York/New Jersey area and currently based in California, Katie is a featured speaker at the Los Angeles Religious Education Congress, the largest annual Catholic religious education gathering in the United States. She also leads enrichment programs for middle and high schoolers through the Onward to High School initiative with the SMET Foundation, partners with Between Us to host mother–daughter retreats fostering healthy communication, and serves as Creative Director at Sol Seek Yoga, curating community nights, music, and movement + breathwork experiences across Manhattan Beach and Santa Barbara.
Above all, Katie hopes every person she encounters comes to know the profound truth of being loved by God—just as they are, in every age, every day, and every moment of life.
